AT QSL Service - Rules 2026

AT QSL Service provides the following services:
  • Sending of the QSL to those requesting confirmation to a station assisted by AT QSL Service, according to the rules and conditions of point 1.
  • Station Managers: according to the rules and conditions of point 2.
  • Activators: according to the rules and conditions of point 3.
  • AT QSL Service Full: according to the rules and conditions of point 4.
For every other aspect not already specified in the respective points, the final decision belongs to AT QSL SERVICE.

1. QSL REQUESTS

1.1. All QSL requests of the stations assisted by the AT QSL Service and by the Station Managers must be made exclusively through the platform hq.alfatango.org/qslservice, both for AT members and NOT AT members.
Any other request or contribution sent through different methods or channels will not be taken into consideration.

1.2. For all ALFA TANGO the QSLs requested for stations assisted by the AT QSL Service are without any cost and without any contribution!
  • Go to https://hq.alfatango.org/qslservice
  • Login with your Alfa Tango account
  • Select one by one the callsign of worked stations
  • Insert QSO date, time (a tolerance of +/- 5 minutes will be valid)
  • Confirm your mailing address for sending QSL
  • Send request

1.3. For NOT ALFA TANGO the standard contribution is required: €3.00.
The contribution must be paid Online during the QSL request procedure through the AT QSL Service platform with PayPal account or credit cards.
  • Go to https://hq.alfatango.org/qslservice
  • Enter your callsign and your email address
  • Select one by one the callsign of worked stations
  • Insert QSO date, time (a tolerance of +/- 5 minutes will be valid)
  • Confirm your mailing address for sending QSL
  • Send request and pay the contribution

1.4. QSL deadline: QSL requests must be received within 60 days from the date of approval of the Supercommittee. The approval date is indicated next to the list of the stations assisted by the AT QSL Service on the platform hq.alfatango.org/qslservice.
Any QSL requests received AFTER 60 days will be managed and fulfilled only and exclusively by AT QSL SERVICE according to the deadlines in point 1.5.

1.5. Standard shipment: AT QSL SERVICE will send the QSLs to AT and NOT AT who will have made the request within the following deadlines of every year:
  • 28 February
  • 30 June
  • 30 November

1.6. Fast shipment: for every request made for AT0, AT/DX and not-resident IOTA, from AT and NOT AT, the QSL Fastly service can be used which allows to receive the QSL within and not beyond 20 days from the date of request at the cost of the standard contribution of €3.00 in any period of the year. The contribution must be paid Online during the QSL request procedure through the AT QSL Service platform with PayPal account or credit cards.

1.7. Shipment confirmation: for every QSL request made the shipment status including the date will be indicated in the platform. Requests of shipment confirmation through email or any other channel will not be taken into consideration.

2. STATION MANAGERS

2.1. Starting from 1st January 2026, all QSL Managers, who will not have expressed negative opinion within 15 December 2025, will be nominated STATION MANAGERS (and no longer QSL Managers) of the stations approved by AT QSL Service. The addition of possible new stations must be previously approved by AT QSL Service and will be added to the platform system made available to the Station Managers to manage the requests of their approved assistees.
The assisted stations must carry out at least 50 QSOs, uploaded on the platform by the Station Manager, every 365 days from the activation date. AT QSL Service will verify the respect of this requirement and may request additional checks on the uploaded QSOs. In case of proven irregularities or failure to reach the minimum threshold, AT QSL Service may suspend the service for the assisted, unless further provision. At the same time the Station Managers will NOT have to pay anymore the fee of €2.00 which has always been requested for every assisted station.

2.2. The Station Managers maintain all the previous tasks except the procedure of shipment of the QSLs of their assistees, according to the following rules and conditions:
  • direct management of relations and contacts with the assisted stations
  • receipt, retrieval and management of the logs of their assistees
  • uploading of the logs in the AT QSL Service platform in ATlogger (.atl) format with obligation of constancy and continuity in the updating of the logs of their assistees
  • management of the QSL requests for every assisted through the AT QSL Service platform
  • direct and autonomous management of the QSL design (respecting the standards and through an AT QSL DESIGNER), QSL printing (with autonomy in the choice of the supplier for the printing and in the format, including booklet format up to 4 pages), QSO compilation (by hand and/or with labels), for every QSL of their assistees
  • possibility of adding for every confirmation QSL a special or collectible QSL including the QSO data, inserted by hand and/or with label
  • insertion of the QSL(s) in the envelope for every single recipient, with labeling or printing of the shipping address on the envelope. Specifically the envelopes must mandatorily be of the standard C6 format (11.4 x 16.2 cm), with adhesive closing flap. To facilitate the sorting and shipment operations of the AT QSL Service it is requested the sending of the packages with the envelopes open and ordered in alphabetical order by recipient callsign (from 1 to 9, from A to Z)
  • sending within 31 December, 30 April, 30 September of the QSL package ready for shipment to AT QSL Service

2.3. Reimbursement: AT QSL Service will take care to reimburse according to predefined deadlines the cost of printing of the QSLs borne by the Station Managers at the standard rate of the two-sided format for every QSL, equal to the cost that AT QSL Service would have borne for direct printing, regardless of the format and type of printing decided autonomously by the Station Manager. Possible additional costs for the printing and labeling of the QSLs of the assistees are at the charge of the Station Manager. The shipment costs of the QSL packages, from Station Manager to AT QSL Service are at the charge of AT QSL Service and will be reimbursed to the Station Manager together with the printing reimbursement in the agreed methods and timing.

3. ACTIVATORS

3.1. Activators are all those who carry out AT0, AT/DX and not-resident IOTA radio activities.

3.2. The Activators who do not explicitly request the AT QSL Service Full (see point 4) maintain all the previous tasks except the procedure of shipment of the QSLs of the activation, according to the following rules and conditions:
  • uploading of the logs in the AT QSL Service platform in ATlogger (.atl) format
  • receipt of the QSL requests through the AT QSL Service platform
  • direct and autonomous management of the QSL design (respecting the standards and through an AT QSL DESIGNER), QSL printing (with autonomy in the choice of the supplier for the printing and in the format, including booklet format up to 4 pages), QSO compilation (by hand and/or with labels)
  • possibility of adding for every confirmation QSL a special or collectible QSL including the QSO data, inserted by hand and/or with label
  • insertion of the QSL(s) in the envelope for every single recipient, with labeling or printing of the shipping address on the envelope. 3.3. Reimbursement: AT QSL Service will take care to reimburse within 15 days from the shipment of the QSLs to the requesters the cost of printing of the QSLs borne by the Activators at the standard rate of the two-sided format for every QSL, equal to the cost that AT QSL Service would have borne for direct printing, regardless of the format and type of printing decided autonomously by the Activator. Possible additional costs for the printing and labeling of the QSLs are at the charge of the Activator. The shipment costs of the QSL packages, from Activator to AT QSL Service are at the charge of AT QSL Service and will be reimbursed to the Activator together with the printing reimbursement in the agreed methods and timing.

3.4. QSL Fastly service: to request the Fastly service (see point 1.6) it is necessary to guarantee the sending of at least 100 QSLs printed and not labeled to AT QSL Service within and not beyond the beginning of the activation. Following explicit request by AT QSL Service of the sending of further QSLs for the Fastly service, the Activator has the obligation to provide within and not beyond 7 days the requested quantity to AT QSL Service. The contribution of €3.00 will be entirely retained by AT QSL Service to cover the shipment costs of the QSL Fastly service. The Activator furthermore has the obligation of the uploading of the Log in the AT QSL Service platform within and not beyond 3 days from the end of the activation. To request the Fastly service it is necessary to fill in the specific form indicating that one wishes to benefit from the QSL Fastly service.

3.5. Direct QSL: the sending of direct QSLs from the place is authorized (for example from locations that allow the sending via post-office) according to the following rules and conditions:
  • the QSL must have the same design and format of the official QSL that will be sent by AT QSL Service. Consequently the Activator must necessarily print beforehand the QSLs to bring with him in the activation, which will have the same design and format as those in point 3.2
  • the shipment expenses of the direct QSLs are at the charge of the Activator and no reimbursements are foreseen by AT QSL Service
  • following a subsequent request of QSL sending to those who have already received the direct QSL, the Activator has the obligation to manage anyway the QSL according to the procedure of point 3.2

4. AT QSL Service Full
It is the complete service provided by the AT QSL Service staff, dedicated to:
  • AT Stations that request it to AT QSL Service. The evaluation whether to provide such service or not is at the exclusive judgment of AT QSL Service.
  • Activators who do not wish to manage the QSLs autonomously as per point 4.
AT QSL Service Full therefore takes care of the entire management, from the retrieval and uploading of the log on the platform, request management, printing, labeling, enveloping, sending of the QSLs.

The AT QSL Service Full service is always free of charge.
